The McMurdo FastFind 220 (91001-220A) is a lightweight, palm-sized 406 MHz PLB that, when activated, transmits a unique ID and GPS coordinates to the global satellite network, where it is then relayed to search and rescue services (SAR) within minutes. The FastFind 220 also emits a 121.5 MHz homing signal which helps search and rescue to zero in on user’s location.
Designed for convenience and efficiency, the FastFind 220 has a safe stow antenna that automatically deploys when the unit is activated, and a battery that enables it to operate continuously for a minimum of 24 hours. Waterproof to a depth of 10 meters, the FastFind 220 is also supplied with a floatation pouch for easy retrieval.
